Lanny R. Maupin, born July 21, 1938 in Rexburg, ID to Edward Rex and Melba [Reynolds] Sorensen, passed away January 4, 2014 in Gilbert, AZ at the age of 75. Lanny was career military, serving 21 years in the Navy. During his final tour, Lanny was a Recruiting Officer in Washington State. After retirement from the Navy, Lanny worked for ARCO the Atlantic Richfield Oil Co. on the Alaskan Pipeline for another 20 years. He enjoyed flying, gardening and fishing for salmon. Lanny is survived by his loving wife Dianna Maupin; stepson and his wife Scott and Dena Rozmenoski, his sister Gayle Hanson as well as two grandchildren Kailey and Ashley.
