She grew up in Naperville but spent most of her adult life in Phoenix. She lived an amazing life and many will miss her. Laura loved children and cats. She also had a passion for fine dining and she spent many years in the hospitality industry and putting others needs first. We will always cherish the memories we had with her. On our last vacation together to Hawaii, she was petrified flying on the puddle jumper from Kona to Maui, she could not bear the high winds and frigid temperatures at the top of Haleakala, and she was terrified on the road to Hana but she still had a great time. There are so many little things we will always remember like the time as young kids where we tricked her into eating an olive that we had stuffed with tissue paper. She loved golf, murder mysteries, the food network and wheel of fortune. We could go on and on about her adventures.
To honor her request, there will not be a service or visitation. Instead of flowers, please feel free to donate to any charity on her behalf. She will be greatly missed and always in our loving memory as a strong woman.
