Lawrence Russo

Larry was born in Woburn, Massachusetts to Christopher and Phyllis (Conte) Russo. He served in the Army following Patton across Europe during World War II. While in Czechoslovakia, he met and married his wife of 55 years, Vera. They had two daughters, Shirley and Michelle. After Vera’s death in 2000, Larry met Pat Cusumano. She was his loving companion until his death. Larry leaves behind his daughter Shirley and her husband Van and also her daughter Michelle and her partner Jack Flynn. He also leaves behind grandsons Jeff Hughes and wife Norma, Jason and his wife Asuscena and many adopted grandchildren. He also leaves behind grandson Eric Petelle, Brian Petelle and his wife Ashley and Michael Petelle and his wife Cara. He also had many great grandchildren. He left brother Chris and his wife Elaine, brother Ernie and his wife Lillian, sister Phyllis, brother in law Ed Duratti and many nieces and nephews. His sister, Marie, predeceased him. Cremation has been performed and interment will be at Mariposa Gardens on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 11:00 am. with military honors. A reception will follow at Mariposa Gardens.
