Linda Marie Holmes

Linda Marie Holmes fell into the arms of God on December 31, 2021 at the age of 70, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a loving wife to Ivan before his passing and she is survived by her three children; Brent, Wendy, and Randy; and her 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was a beautiful soul and loved by all who knew her. She could light up a room with her kind spirit and selflessness.

She was born in Washington on November 15, 1951, then raised in California where she eventually had her own children. Later, she moved her family to Arizona where they stayed. For many years, she worked as a hair stylist. She also enjoyed her job truck driving and later became a bus driver for special needs children at Mesa Public Schools. While she liked these jobs, her most fulfilling was caregiving for her own mother until she passed.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Linda. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She always made it known that her family was her pride and joy and how blessed she felt to have them by her side. She spent her days dedicated to following the path of Jesus and encouraging those she loved to do the same. Evenings were spent crocheting and watching monochrome TV in peace while conversing with the lord; thanking him for the life she was given.

Linda will be remembered as a beautiful, selfless, and happy mother, grandmother, wife and friend. Her family will honor her legacy by faithfully living life to the fullest.

Linda's Memorial will be held January 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Rd Mesa, AZ 85206. It will be followed by a Celebration of Life and Reception from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
