

Linda was born on February 3, 1949 to Paul Shackelford Sr. and Martha Elena Shackelford (Quinn). Linda graduated from South High in Bakersfield California and later went to Al Collins School of Design where she received her associates degree in Art. Linda was married to Merlen Rollins.
Linda worked as a Purchasing Agent for numerous companies throughout the valley with highlights in the Aeroscape segment. She would later open and manage a successful 50's family restaurant in Mesa, Arizona. Eventually she sold the restaurant after 7 successful years of operations. Linda was a member of the Baptist Church.
Linda's art was her passion, everything from knitting to making jewelry, with an emphasis on painting and scratch boards. Linda was a tenacious spirit, always willing to jump in and try anything, she loved to cook and create, repair antiques and admire others art, music, and theater. Linda was a very caring and supportive soul, always looking to help improve the lives of those she loved. She had a tremendous sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Linda is survived by: Her Husband Merlen Rollins, Brother Milton (Renee) Shackelford, Daughter; Michelle (Henry) Mickens, Son; Bryce Shepard, Step Daughters: Jennifer (Robert) Benner, Natalie (Nate) Rollins-Pacheco, Grandchildren: {Michelle} Ashley, Tia, Devyn, Michael, {Bryce} Steven (Madi), Dylan {Jennifer} Payton, Kylie, {Natalie} Jayden, Zander, Riddick, Great Grandchildren: Harley, Star, Moon, Swayzee. Nieces and Nephews: Brian, Melissa, Tara, John. Several cousins and numerous friends.
