In Loving Memory of Mickey Shrum, born on January 22, 1927,went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2011. She will be truly missed in this world, and has already been welcomed in the next by her many siblings, husband and friends. She lived in Apache Junction for 34 years before leaving Colorado,which was her home since her birth.This wonderful woman was many things; a woman of faith, a lover of country music, a volunteer for the food bank, and Banner Hospice for 10 years, a fantastic card player and a friend to everyone she met. She touched many people by her smile and humor. Mickey is survived by her three children; Jan, James, and Michael, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her ashes will be scattered in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and sister.There will be a celebration of her life in a few weeks with all of her “Jammer” friends.
