Born June 22, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio, she is predeceased by her parents, John and Josephine (Salupo) Sandor, her sister Laurie Sandor, and her brother John Sandor, all of Cleveland, Ohio; and her life partner Robert Bright of Walled Lake, Michigan.
An eternal optimist, Maria enjoyed basking in the sunshine, debating politics, reading novels, spending time with her granddaughters, traveling to Las Vegas, watching cooking shows, surrounding herself in all things Italian, and vacationing in her favorite place, Aruba.
Survivors include her two sons, Robert (Lori) Grob of Gilbert, Arizona and John (Tanja Krupa) Grob of Ferndale, Michigan; three granddaughters, Rylee Grob, Ruby Krupa Grob, and Josephine Krupa Grob; nephew Denvin Bragg; and other deeply cherished family and friends.
A private memorial will be held this summer in Mesa, Arizona.
