Maria Rita Payne, 77, of Apache Junction, Arizona, went to Heaven on July 2, 2015. She was born on August 1, 1937 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and lived in Santa Fe and Milpitas, California. Rita truly enjoyed being a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and the Eagles Lodge. She donated to many charities, loved her animals, traveled to many places and enjoyed bingo. Rita is survived by her children Daniel, Joseph, Rodney, Lisa; her grandchildren, as well as many relatives living in California and other states, and her companion Craig Lohsen. All of her family and friends will forever miss her. A Celebration of Life will be held at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park on July 24, at 2:00pm. Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park is in care of arrangements.
