Marian Dorothy Vitort

Born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1930 to the late William and Helen Connors, Marian grew up in a vibrant faith community. She attended Blessed Sacrament Elementary School and graduated from St. Patrick High School in Chicago. Marian went on to build a successful career, serving for many years as the dedicated Office Manager for Disa Matic.

Marian's life was deeply rooted in her faith and service to others. As a founding member of the St. Vincent de Paul conference at St. Timothy Catholic Church, choir member, Young at Hearts, and as a longtime Eucharistic Minister, she poured her heart into lifting up her community and serving those in need.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lee Vitort, with whom she shared 61 beautiful years of marriage; her parents; and her sister, Lorraine Petrakovic.

Marian's legacy lives on through her devoted family. She is survived by her five children: Leon, Susan, Gerry, Diane, and Karen. She was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren: Lindsay, Jessica, Ryan, Sarah, Alyson, Matthew, Cody, Jacob, Lauren, Collin, and Jack. She also had the immense joy of knowing and loving her 10 great-grandchildren. Marian will also be dearly missed by her wonderful niece, Kathy, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral Mass Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM St. Timothy Catholic Church 1730 W. Guadalupe Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marian's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Timothy's.
