Marian is survived by her children; Antoinette Sheen Durand (James), Melanie Sheen, Randall Zeigler (Ann), and Susan Burnett (Ralph); her grandchildren, Jesse Bateman, Martin Paulini, Matthew Paulini, Michael Paulini (Dawn), Melissa Brink (Willis), R. J. Zeigler (Jenn), and Rob Zeigler (Amanda); as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and many great-grandchildren.
Preceding Marian in death are her parents Pauline (Schmid) and Charles Davidson Sr.; her siblings, Charles Davidson Jr., Shirley Davidson, and Jane Eckert; and her daughter, Louine Reynolds. She is also preceded in death by two loving husbands. Marian married her first husband, Anthony Sheen on January 4, 1947. Anthony passed away on November 12, 1973. She married her second husband, Louis Zeigler on July 28, 1978. Louis passed away on April 13, 2000.
Marian graduated from Salem High School in 1943. She worked at Salem China from 1943 to 1947. She raised her children with love and care, then returned to work at Columbia Gas Company from 1971 to 1981. Marian belonged to the Salem Hospital Auxiliary.
Family was most important to Marian. She took loving care of her parents, husbands, children, and grandchildren plus had an independent and feisty nature. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family members. She loved attending operas, musicals, and plays. Marian was loving, compassionate, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved taking walks in her woods and watching the local wildlife.
A memorial service will be held at Lakeshore Mortuary in Mesa, AZ on July 27, 2021 at 2pm Arizona time. All are invited to attend in person or via Facebook livestream.
Marian will be laid to rest with her first husband, Anthony, at Hope Cemetery in Salem, Ohio.
