Marie M. Baker

Marie Margaret Baker, 95, of Mesa, AZ. passed away peacefully in her sleep, August 7, 2014 in Mesa, AZ.

Visitation and rosary will be held at the Lerud-Schuldt Funeral Home in Valley City, ND on August 29th at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sandborn, ND at 11:00. Music for Marie will preceed the mass.

Marie was born in Ekelson, ND to Simon and Celia Hinschberger on July 10, 1919. She was married in 1943 to Harold Baker and they resided in Minneapolis MN until they retired to Mesa, AZ. Marie loved golf, playing the organ and enjoying the company of her extensive family and friends.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; six brothers; Jimmy, Billie, Leonard, Tom, Gerald, and Lloyd.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Charmelle and son-in-law Curt of Bainbridge Island, WA.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Banner Hospice of Mesa, AZ. for their outstanding care of Marie and support for her family.
