

Marilee Jacques age 77 of Mesa Arizona passed away Friday, October 21st, after a long battle with ill health. Marilee was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on Thursday, May 3, 1945. Shortly after, her family moved to Stamford Connecticut, where she graduated from Stamford High School class of ’63. Marilee met her “soulmate” Edward Jacques and they were married in 1968. Marilee and Edward moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1973. Marilee joined "Beta Sigma PHI" and took courses at Mesa Community college. Marilee prided herself in her secretarial skills as Marilee was executive secretary to the vice president of Citizens utilities and served as secretary to an Arizona state senator, and secretary in Military customer support at Honeywell. She loved the beach, dancing, and tennis where she played competitive tennis at the Tempe Tennis and Racquet club. Marilee loved traveling to spectacular resorts using their timeshare. She especially loved vacationing in Sedona. Marilee loved photography and captured spectacular shots and maintained albums of family history. Marilee loved Native American jewelry and art and maintained a collection of over 30 years in Arizona. Marilee loved her pets and cherished the Tibetan Spaniels Sedona, Jewel, and Pearl.
She is survived by husband Edward and her sister Sharon.
There will be a private service in Mesa Arizona.
