Marinus van Overdijk

Marinus van Overdijk passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, love, and generosity. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he lived a life defined by determination and a deep commitment to his family.

Born in Indonesia, he was a young man with courage and ambition who set out to build a better future. Determined to overcome the odds, he immigrated to the Netherlands and later made his home in the United States, where he continued to pursue opportunity and provide for those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elly van Overdijk, whose memory remained close to his heart. Together they built a family rooted in strength, kindness, and perseverance.

He is survived by his four loving children, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren whom he cherished every moment.

Known for his big heart and generous spirit, he was always willing to help others and share what he had. His determination never faded, and he remained strong in spirit until the very end.

His life journey from Indonesia to the Netherlands and finally to America stands as a testament to courage, perseverance, and love for family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
