

As a young man Ken loved to roller skate, swim and play football. He was an avid sports fan and followed the Chicago White Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Bears and the Arizona Cardinals. Ken would watch just about any football game on TV!
Ken worked for nearly 20 years as an assembler in a factory that made massive foundry molding machinery that would cast parts for Pettibone forklifts.
He was fond of the outdoors, hunting, camping and boating.
He loved working with his hands, many who knew him would say that when Ken built something it was made to stay!
Ken enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, sitting outside and watching birds.
He loved to eat sweets, his favorite dessert was pumpkin pie. Ken’s grandkids would say that “he made the best milkshakes!”
Ken proudly served his country in the U.S Air Force for three years as a tail-gunner in B-17 and B-52 bombers during the Korean Conflict. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Diane; son Michael (Kathy); grandchildren, Meghin (Corey), Amanda (Tyler) Yurista, Michael and Ryan (Kait) Lindale as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Theresa.
A military service will be held in his honor on Tuesday July 13th at 10:00am at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85024. An open house celebration of life will be held at our house (call or text for the address if you do not have it) from 12:00pm till 2:00pm
