Marla Lyn Evel

March 6, 1956December 20, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Marla L Evel (Marveless Transportation) announces her passing after a brief illness, on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the age of 62 years. Marla has now joined her father Lorin “Dean” Evel in heaven.

Marla was loved by many with her cheerful, upbeat personality. She was always willing to help others when she could. She has had many accomplishments in her short life but the greatest one of all was her beloved Transportation Business, Marveless Transportation. For over a decade Marla helped transport, serve and arrange client’s transportation needs worldwide, and she was very successful doing so.

Marla is survived by her mother Lorraine (Neumann) Evel, sister Mona Constance, brother Mark (Bonnie) Evel, nieces Jennifer (Jason) Popp, Jessica (Edgar) Foster, Tami (David) Thomas and many great nieces and nephews, cousins and her beloved dog Bella.

A Celebration of Marla’s life will be held at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S Dobson Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202 on Sunday, January 6th at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to Arizona Humane Society.

Have known and highly recommended Marla for almost 30 years. Reliable, professional, knowledgeable, and a true dependable friend. Now you are finally pain free. You will be missed by so many who loved you. Thoughts and prayers to your family. We have the bridal show Sunday, otherwise would be there to pay my respects. Will miss you friend. ❤️

So very sad to hear the news of Marla passing. I knew Marla from NACE and served on the board of directors with Marla for many years. I also worked with many groups that utilized her transportation services. Marla, you made your mark on the Phoenix Hospitality Industry and you will be missed.

RIP Marla.

Marla, my best friend, you are missed so much. 3 hour lunches, playing with puppies, trading transportation services, sharing knowledge, sharing experiences, cheese curds! Im sure God has his reasons for taking you from us, but I dont have to like it. Rest in peace my dear friend, save me a place.

Marla and I worked together in the hospitality industry, and she was totally generous with her time and knowledge. AND, with her love of animals. Rest in peace, Marla.

I remember the talks we had and her laughter was contagious! Marla was a very loving and helpful person. My husband Dan loved working for her and I had the pleasure of being her hair stylist for a season. She will never be forgotten
