So many years ago when the Humphrey family was on my Reid St paper route, I would see Mary Ann (and later Kathy) doing homework at the dining room table behind that big picture window. I never dreamed I would see Mary Ann again, but during the last few years, I was fortunate enough to have dinners with her and Erv in Mesa AZ. It was fun to reminisce about Fort Plain with them and my brother Ed and SIL Linda. My condolences to Erv and family, I will miss those dinners together.

So sorry to hear about Mary Ann. She was probably the sweetest person I’ve ever known. She graduated with my husband, Laverne “Whitey“ Smith. Whitey passed away on December 6, 2020 so I know what you are going through. Our early days were so similar. We as well as you and Mary Ann were high school sweethearts and got married One year apart. I remember you so well and wish you the best without the love of your life. Take care of yourself, Barbara Flanders Smith.

Mary Anne was one of those special people that you meet and who always remains in your heart. She was always special with a smile that lit up her face. Last saw her and Erv at our reunion from St. Joe’s in Syracuse and it was so easy to pick up where we had left off years ago. It was a special weekend for all of us!!
Am so sorry for Erv and her family as I know she is missed. You now have 2 special angels to watch over you with both Tom and Mary Anne in Heaven. ❤️❤️🦋
Much love,
