Mary Taylor Finder

Mary Taylor Finder, 67, of Mesa, AZ passed away January 26, 2017. She was born June 13, 1949 in Albion, Pennsylvania to Gilbert O. and Gertrude M. [Bishop] Thornton. Mary was a devout Christian and very active in her church, Light in the Desert Baptist Church in Mesa. She enjoyed cooking, especially big meals, going for walks and camping; she was very independent and never afraid to do anything; what she was most proud of and what meant the most to her, was her family. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Gertrude; brother, George Thornton; her sisters, Pauline Thornton - her infant sister and Jean Anne Forinash. She is survived by her loving husband, Marcus J. Finder; sons, Danny (Wendy) Taylor and Owen (Tina) Taylor; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Light in the Desert Baptist Church, 7930 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85209. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary's name to your favorite charity.
