As sad as it is to say she is gone, I can imagine that she is having a wonderful reunion with her family members to the point of almost being envious! Like all the others of this family, she was a dear. Many of my "growing up" moments were with her and her family. She always welcomed me even though she had her own family to care for her. It was with her that I learned to stitch a quilt,---because we got to visit! And recipes! She had a way of making everything taste good and beautiful that I could never match. I am glad to have had her as my aunt. The one good thing now is that I see her in her daughters now, so it's as though she's not far away. Her legacy continues, thank goodness. Always beautiful: Aunt Maxine!!
