Maynard Eugene Young, age 78, of San Tan Valley, Arizona passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Gene was born on May 1, 1946, in Syracuse, New York to parents Maynard and Dorothy Young.
He was a well decorated United States Army Veteran who served in Vietnam.
He is survived by: his daughter Tiffany and her husband Mike McGuire; his grandchildren Devin and Riley.
His two grandchildren meant the world to him.
His urn along with the urn of his late wife, Susan Carol Young, will be laid together at rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on April 16, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

Stars and Stripes, they flew
forever always in his heart.
He was loyal to his nation
