Muriel Edna Kelly

Muriel was born in Hartford, CT and served honorably as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy in World War II and the Korean War. She married Donald Kelly and they moved to Chicago, Il. They eventually moved to Arizona in 1970 where they raised their family and Muriel worked her career at American Express. She was a proud member of the VFW, American Legion, and Yesterday’s Kids at St. Andrews Parish in Chandler, AZ.

Muriel is survived by her brother, Stephen McCarthy; her daughter Eileen Kelly Bienz; her grandchildren Rachael Bienz, Sean Kelly, Kiersten Tracy, Donald Kelly and Stephanie Bienz; her daughter-in-law Beth Kelly and her many loving nephews, nieces, relatives and dear friends.

Rosary and Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S Dobson Rd., Mesa, AZ 85202. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at noon at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3450 W. Ray Rd., Chandler, AZ 85226. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. Frances Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, AZ 85008.
