So sorry to hear about Nick's passing, I can't say enough about Nick, he had such a great personality. Nick was the first person to greet us when we relocated to Las Sendas almost 19 years ago. So sad that we just found out that Nick passed away.

I am so sorry to hear about Nick!   Eileen & I were away for a few weeks, and are so sorry that we missed the arrangements for that lovely man!
He is such an inspiration to me.. He had a memory that put an elephant to shame and a smile that warmed the cockles of my heart. I truly enjoyed the talks we had at, and after the ARC meetings. Nick was a great man and a terrific asset to the whole Las Sendas community! I will miss his smile, his help, and his friendship.

Nick and Penny were the first ones to welcome us to Las Sendas and the retirees' group.  He always offered useful information and a warm smile.  We appreciate his many contributions to the whole community.  We will be thinking of Penny and his whole family and wish we could be present for his memorial.

How fortunate for Las Sendas was that move.  Nick certainly had a presence in this lovely community and will be missed by many.  My heartfelt prayers are with you and your family.

I am so very grateful that I was able to become acquainted with Nick soon after moving from California to Arizona. It was an honor to work alongside him on committees and as colleagues on a board of directors. I appreciate his integrity, humor, devotion to duty, and his having a big heart. He was always willing to give credit to others. He loved his family dearly. Coming from former pilot Nick I took it as a great honor when he once told me he would trust me to be his "wing man." So long Nick. God bless you Penny and family.

A deeply patriotic man committed to family and community, Nick was full of personality and ever present.  His positive, can-do approach nurtured and valued others' abilities and talents.  He was proud of his accomplishments which were shared in his gleeful story-telling, and he introduced some of us "westerners" to East coast culture.  The Las Sendas Community and the City of Mesa benefitted from his visionary commitment and volunteerism in his active retirement years. Thank you, Nick, and be with God.

Nick was a remarkable man, and will be greatly missed.  Nick and I shared many conversations on our community planning activities; they went on for hours at times.  They were animated, instructional, full of personal anecdotes, and always very positive in there outlook.  I greatly enjoyed these encounters.

Nick made a great contribution to our country through his air force role, and to our community through his many Board and other roles.  And, I am sure that there were a few others in between!  Thank-you for all this Nick, my friend.

Nick was an amazing man. He always had a great story to share. I, for one, could listen to his old air force stories endlessly.  I am lucky to have known him and honored to call him a friend. Penny, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
