

Patricia J. Boyd Kinnane, 84, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on March 18, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, Patricia was the beloved sister of Mary Ei Ruth, Rita K. McGrath. She is survived by her brother James C. Cummings and Colleen A. Heck. She is also much loved and survived by many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was a woman with a very strong work ethic. She worked for Hoge, Waren and Zimmerman for twenty years after graduating from high school. Patricia later worked for Juneau County in Wisconsin for eighteen years. Patricia had a wonderful love for her siblings, nieces, nephews and other children that came into her life. She adopted her best friend’s daughter Desiree as a niece. She was adopted by a family of girls in her motorhome park in Mesa. She never met a stranger that she didn't try to befriend. Patricia believed in family and her love of the Catholic Church.
Patricia was preceded in death by husbands Donald W. Boyd and John C. Kinnane, her parents and her older sisters, Mary Eileen Ruth and Rita Kay McGrath. She learned about love of family from her favorite Aunt Eileen. She loved her extended family of many other aunts and cousins. She leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication, surviving through the many lives she touched. The people she loved and who loved her will miss her deeply, but they are comforted knowing that Patricia's spirit lives on in them.
Service arrangements to celebrate Patricia's life will be February 4, 2026, in Gilbert, Az at St. Anne's Catholic Church at 10:00 am and later in September in Illinois at a place TBD. We look forward to gathering together to share stories, laughter, and tears as we honor the remarkable life of this extraordinary woman.
Patricia's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and determination. She believed in making a difference, whether big or small, in the many children that Patricia loved. Patricia's personal message to us all would be to always choose love and care for children in need.
In addition to her hard work, Patricia was known for her wonderful sense of humor She had a unique ability to make people feel appreciated and loved. Patricia's light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts and memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Dementia Society of America. Please join us in celebrating Patricia's life by sharing your memories and love for her. Her spirit, her smile, and her love will forever remain in our hearts.
