Patricia Lana Jensen

Patricia was born on May 22, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Alton Royal Larsen and Mary Eliza (Hansen) Larsen. Although her family spent a few years in Seattle, Washington, most of her childhood was spent in Holladay, Utah. Patricia graduated from Olympus High School and, shortly after, married Ferris Jones Keller in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 13, 1960. Together, they spent 22 years raising five children. In 1994, Patricia married Gary Jensen in the Salt Lake Temple on February 19. They enjoyed 10 happy years together in St. George, Utah, before his passing.

Patricia earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Utah, demonstrating her lifelong love of learning and personal growth. Over the years, she worked as a real estate agent, among other roles.

Deeply faithful, Patricia held an unwavering testimony and love for her Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. She served diligently in numerous church callings throughout her life, including many years in Primary, where her love for teaching children flourished. She cherished children deeply. Patricia also had a passion for genealogy and devoted much of her time and talents to temple work. A beautiful alto, she enjoyed singing in her church choir for many years.

She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, service, and the profound love she had for her family, her faith, and all those whose lives she touched.

Patricia is survived by her five children: Clay (Kelly) Keller, Jeff (Michelle) Keller, Chris Keller, Michelle (Shad) Vider, and Nicole Keller; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her seven stepchildren: Kib (Lisa) Jensen, Jamie (Scott) Bonham, Jeron (Michelle) Jensen, Jenny (Rod) Slater, Ginger (Casey) Timmerman, Gavin (Amanda) Jensen, and Jonathan (Jen) Jensen, along with 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Monday, February 24, at 11:00 AM at 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah 84095. There will be a viewing prior to the funeral on Sunday, February 23, from 5:00–7:00 PM, and a viewing on Monday, February 24, from 10:00–10:45 AM.
