Paul was born in Warrington, U.K. at the Burtonwood Airbase, under operation of the United States Army and Airforce. With a brilliant mind and eagerness to innovate, he became an electrical engineer and entrepreneur, owning a business that provided equipment for use by semiconductor manufacturers in the U.S.A. and abroad. A strong personality with a rebel inside, he spoke his mind, and convinced others of his vision just as often. At home in any company- especially in the water at a beach- he also knew how to relax and let things be. He was always happiest when surrounded by his family and friends. A loving husband, father, and grandfather- he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife Betty K. Scherb, his children Mitchell J. Scherb, Kaylene A. Scherb, and Keith J. Scherb; his father Ernest Scherb; two brothers Ernest Scherb Jr. and Jimmy Scherb; his sister Jennifer Scherb; and five grandchildren; ShaeLynn Scherb, Kylah Scherb, Jayden Scherb, Micha Scherb, and Grayson Scherb.
Friends are invited to gather with the family to celebrate Paul’s life at his sister’s house on January 12th between 1PM and 4PM.
