Peggy Ann Cueno

She was born April 6, 1952, in New Underwood, SD, to Joe and Ella Mae Wieser. She graduated from New Underwood High School and the National College of Business in Rapid City, SD, before moving and working in Sioux Falls, SD, and later in Bettendorf, IA. Peggy worked at Alcoa for 33 years where she met her husband, Ron Cueno. They were married January 2, 2001. She retired in 2009 to a home they built in Mesa, AZ, where she transitioned from tending to her garden of beautiful Midwest plantings to desert plants and Arizona hardscape. She loved sports and also played on many volleyball teams herself.

She is survived by her husband, daughters, Jennifer Dunkin (Joel), grandsons Anthony and Leyton; Jacque Simonton, granddaughters Tianna and Ava, Stepson Daniel Cueno, (Holly) and grandsons Sam and Ben. She also three sisters and three brothers Kathy Newton (Mike), Susan Ault (Bob), Jim Wieser, Mary Forslin, Jack Wieser (Sandi), Don Wieser; many nieces and nephews.
