Peggy was born in Casper, Wyoming to Lillian and Art Fairchild.
Peggy graduated from Natrona County High School and received her nursing degree from Casper Community College.
She was married to Dean Elwood on April 2nd, 1980, in Casper, WY.
Peggy had a career in nursing for over 25 years. She had a passion for spending time with her family, her dogs, and travelling the country in their RV.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Dean Elwood; her daughters Nikki Schieferstein (Troy Schieferstein); Amy Konen (Mike Konen); Kim Schilling; and her son Greg Elwood (Jill Elwood); her mother-in-law Pearl Elwood and father-in-law Byrd Elwood; her brothers Gary Fairchild, Tim Fairchild, Don Fairchild and her brother-in-law Rod Elwood; her grandchildren Cierra Elwood, Autumn Schieferstein, Kayla Sandvick, Bryan Konen, Riley Konen, Ashlyn Elwood, Lauren Elwood, Haley Schilling, Marissa Schilling and her great grandchild Elora Sandvick, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her father Art Fairchild and her mother Lillian Fairchild.
A celebration of life will be held for Peggy in November on what would have been her 72nd birthday.
