Peggy Marie Quinn, age 83, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013 in Mesa. She was born September 30, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph K. and Lottie Viola Trumain West. On November 4, 1981, she married John Edward Quinn. He survives. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the Mesa School District. After her retirement, Peggy continued to be involved with Mesa schools in any way she could. She will be greatly missed by her East Valley friends and neighbors. She especially enjoyed going for coffee with the girls. Peggy is survived by her husband of 32 years, John Edward Quinn; and four step-children, Patrick M. Quinn, Kathy M. Flannigan, and Mary Quinn, all of New York, and John Quinn of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, on Monday, October 14, 2013, at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa. Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care is in charge of arrangements.
