

Regina Marie Mourning-Saiz born August 24, 1959 in Detroit, MI passed away at the age of 52 on June 25, 2012 in Gilbert, AZ. Regina was raised in Lima, OH and graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1977.
The last 35 years she has lived in the Phoenix area primarily working in the banking/financial industry. She obtained a bachelors degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration with honors and magna cum-laude and later obtained a Masters Degree with honors from South University in Healthcare Administration. A few of her favorite pastimes were traveling with her children, taking cruises around the Caribbean and was a connoisseur of movies . She was a member of the Canaan Missionary Baptist Church and an advocate for continuing education. Regina’s greatest accomplishments are; she was the first African American Branch Manager for M&I Thunderbird Bank and an Assistant Vice President for Chase Bank.
Regina is survived by her loving children, daughter Kristin M. Saiz and son-in law Bobby Tafesse; and son Christopher J. Saiz (Phoenix, AZ). Her parents Lana and John Mourning and Alvin and Theresa Davis (Lima, OH). Her brother Mark A. Mourning (Portland, OR), sister Shari L. O’Neal and Husband Rick O’Neal (Kansas City, KS) half-sister Linda Tolbert (Rio Rancho, NM) and half-brother Glenn Davis (Frankford, DE).
Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30th at 4:30pm at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 931 S. Stapley Dr. #2, Mesa, AZ 85204.
