

Renee Sweedler of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away peacefully at her home on April 15, 2013. She was eighty-one years old. Renee was born in New York City, New York on June 3, 1931 to Aaron and Sara (Dubrowski) Klausner.
In November of 1951 she married Morris Sweedler and together they raised two sons, Robert and Stuart. In 1960 they left Brooklyn for Southern California where the family resided for the next twenty-five years. Renee loved to travel and spent her early retirement touring the country in a motor home. But, her favorite trip of all time was a free-spirited jaunt through Europe with her son Stuart in 1978/9. She was a people person who was always surrounded by friends and she loved spending time with her family. She had a wonderful life and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and wife. Renee is survived by her sons, Robert Sweedler and Stuart Sweedler; and grandchildren, Sara Kanani-Lee Sweedler, Julian Aaron Sweedler, and Michelle Jacqueline Sweedler. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Sweedler.
A visitation for Renee will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm, funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, Arizona 85206.
