Richard Rick Oscar Ghee Sr.

Richard Oscar Ghee, Sr. sadly passed away September 21, 2013 in Mesa, AZ. Born to Belva Ann Baker and Oscar William Ghee, Rick arrived September 17, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa. He grew up there and married his first wife Mary. They had two children; Richard Ghee, Jr. and Tonia Ghee Joachims. He later married his 2nd wife Marlene. In the late 80’s most of his family moved to Arizona. Following the birth of his 1st grandson Jorgen in 1992, he decided to move to Arizona. He later was blessed with 2 more beautiful grandchildren Jesse and Ariona. Although they lived out of state and he didn’t see them often, he was always proud to show off pictures to everyone. He worked for many years on the auto industry which he enjoyed. He was a big fan of fast cars, especially Chevrolets. He never missed a NHRA or NASCAR event on TV but whenever possible, would attend any type of racing event. Rick was always known for having many fish tanks and was proud to show them off to anyone who came over. Rick had a great, off-the-wall sense of humor and was known for always cracking jokes about everything. He will truly be missed. He is survived by his mother Belva; his son Rick Jr., his daughter Tonia; his sisters Terri and Carol; his grandchildren Jorgen, Jesse and Ariona; his nephew Patrick; his nieces Melissa and Kristi as well as many other family members and friends.
