Lolly. So sorry to hear of Richards passing.  I loved working with him at District 87. He was a wonderful man and a great boss. So sorry for your loss. Rich and Sandy Eastham originally from Bellwood. Now live in North Aurora.

Dickie meant many things to me. He was a father-in-law (who along with Lolly immediately welcomed me into the family). He was a mentor and second father - someone I could always go to for advice and who was always willing to help me with projects around the house knowing I was a challenged handyman at best. Dickie was a partner who could keep me laughing through tough days at the golf course, on vacations, and the many times Sue and I spent with him and Lolly. Most of all, Dickie was my friend, a friend I will always miss but also always take solace in the time we had together

Aunt Loll, Sue, Tim and Lace, Uncle Dick was such a kind gentle man.  I always looked so forward to your visits to Chicago every summer. We have so many great memories to cherish; trips to Apple Canyon, backyard parties, gatherings at Riley's...we're so lucky to have had such a wonderful man like Uncle Dick to share them with. Dick was my best friend from the first time we met in the third grade, He always had a smile. We had so many fun times together, over the years, that I'll never forget. He was courageous to the end and never lost his sense of humor. I'll always treasure his last letter to me. Char joins me in our sorrow, Dick will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts are flowing through rivers of memory, when I think of our beloved Dickie. Ever the gentleman, quick to smile, eager to help his fellow man in any way he could. 
His selflessness was evident as he volunteered, to teach, and mentor children, during the summer, and we are so grateful to have had our own children take part, and get to know the sweet soul he is. 
His enthusiasm for life, was like that of a child on Christmas morning. I can just imagine his face, the first time he saw Heaven!
To Lolly, Tim, Lace, Sue and family, I wish I could be there to hug each and every one of you!
To Dickie, we say goodbye, but not forevermore, for fate may join us on another shore.

To my sweet Lolly and family,
 I met Mr. Riley when I was just a little girl and immediately he stole my heart and became one of my favorite people of all time. Unfortunately, I did not get to see him much after their move to Arizona.  However, despite the fact that many years have passed and I am now 26, his laugh is so well-preserved in my memory, it's as if I saw him yesterday. In my opinion, that smile of his will continue to outshine any other's until the end of time. I weep at the reality that I never got to spend more time with him, but I rejoice knowing that I got to meet one of the world's biggest hearts. Sending unremitting love to you all during this difficult time.

Dear Lolly and Family,  I am so sorry for your loss.  Mr. Riley was always one of my most favorite people.  I marveled at his happy-go-lucky personality, and his sheer love of life.  As I recall my childhood, I fondly remember being involved in the summer camps that he ran for so many kids who yearned for something fun to do.  I truly believe that it was Mr. Riley's love of educating children, that led me to the path I chose in education.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
