Robert Samuel Boyd, (Bob) 75, of Mesa, AZ entered Eternity on Friday, August 21 2014. Born in Purcellville, VA on August 13, 1939, Bob worked for the Fairfax County VA Water Authority for many years before moving to Arizona in 1984, where he worked as a Senior Manager for Firestone before retiring.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Anna Maxine Boyd of Mesa, and four daughters, Robin Boyd and Patricia Heinbuch of Mesa, Elizabeth Miller of Chandler, and Beverly Pershing of Liverpool, Ohio, as well as 6 Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren.
Viewing will be Tuesday, August 26 from 5 to 8PM at Lakeshore Mortuary in Mesa, with the Funeral on Wednesday, August 26 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa.
The family asks in lieu of Flowers, a donation be made in Bob's name to the American Diabetes Association.
