Robert Lee Rickards (Bob) passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 84. Bob was the oldest of 4 children born to Robert and Mildred Rickards. Bob was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland, until the age of 18, at which time he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. After 21 years in the Air Force serving in Japan, Europe, South America, and various locations across the U.S., Bob settled with his family in Chandler, Arizona. Bob was employed for 19 years with Intel and Honeywell in a variety of management positions until his retirement in 2003. Bob was an avid sportsman with a love for the game of golf. Bob was a member of the San Marcos Country Club golfing community. Bob is survived by his loving wife Kuniko, daughter Deborah, and grandchildren, Joey and Haley. Internment services with military honors will be held at Mariposa Gardens, 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, Arizona, at 10:00 a.m. on April 21.
