Robert William Seelbach Jr.

Robert William Seelbach, Jr., age 75, of Mesa, Arizona, entered into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on July 18, 2026, where he was reunited with his beloved parents, Robert W. Seelbach and Betty E. Seelbach Conley, his brother, Thomas J. Seelbach, and his brother-in-law, Randy K. Dickson.

Bob shared a special bond with his mother, whom he lovingly cared for during her later years. Her passing was a profound loss for him, and he carried that sorrow quietly. Today, his family finds comfort in knowing they are together again.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Bob was known to family and friends as "BobO" or "Hefty." He will be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, and the genuine joy he found in spending time with those he loved. He was never without a friend and was always happy to sit together—usually while watching sports—catching up on life. Bob had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome, and the many friendships he built over the years are a testament to the kind of man he was. His friends will miss him dearly.

Bob had an exceptional talent for computers and electronics and was often the first person friends and family called when they needed help solving a technical problem. A lifelong Chicago sports fan, he remained fiercely loyal to the Bulls, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Bears, even after making Mesa, Arizona, his home.

In his younger years, Bob especially enjoyed fishing with his late brother-in-law, Randy Dickson, and his nephews, Wes and Jared. Those days on the water created treasured memories filled with laughter, conversation, and the simple joys of being together. He also loved cooking and sharing good food, stories, and conversation with family and friends.

Above all, Bob's devotion to his mother during her later years reflected the compassion, loyalty, and quiet strength that defined his life. He gave of himself without seeking recognition, and his kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Bob is survived by his sisters, Mary Dickson (Chuck Rodifer) and Cathy Boruch (John Boruch). He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. Seelbach and Betty E. Seelbach Conley; his brother, Thomas J. Seelbach; and his brother-in-law, Randy K. Dickson.

Though BobO will be deeply missed, his kindness, generosity, unwavering loyalty, and the countless memories he created with family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
