Carrie, Mark and family.  I am so sorry for the loss of your son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.  I pray for you to be comforted with peace and love as you walk this difficult path.  May you have memories that provide you with a source of comfort and help to remind you of the happiness and joy that you shared with Cody.

Sweet Cody, an amazing, kind, wonderful soul...You made us all smile when you walked in the room. You were mischievous from when you were very little until you were all grown… You always made me laugh. When I saw you in January you just quietly came your parents house and sat on the couch with your mom. I was watching Carley play basketball on TV… Completely oblivious that you just walked in… You waited a minute or two I guess and then said “Auntie?! .... I came over here just to see you and you’re watching TV“.  Instant smiles and laughs &  a great time catching up. When you hugged me that night of course I never would have thought it would be the last time I would feel one of your wonderful hugs and see your beautiful smile. I love you Cody. You will be in my heart and so many wonderful memories forever. And I will keep your mom and dad and your brothers and sisters in my prayers every day, always. We miss you so much.

I am so thankful to have known Cody and have him in my life. He has always made me smile and happy even when I was down. I’m so grateful to call him the uncle to my son and daughter. I’ll miss his contagious laugh and the energy he would always bring into the room when he entered. We love and miss you so so much Cody. I’m so glad I got to call you my brother.

Cody was always so kind and respectful to me growing up. He was gentle and sweet. He was a ball of fun to be around and brought joy wherever he went. I love you Cody and hope one day I can say thank you for the kindness you so freely shared with me! Till we meet again. ❤️

The world has lost a beautiful soul.  There are no words that can express the sorrow felt by the ones left behind. Cody’s memory will be forever in the hearts of family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

These boys have an amazing beautiful bond that will never be broken.   I loved watching them grow up together from adorable little blonde toddlers to handsome respectful  young  men.   I love their smiles in this picture they are so happy, I can hear Cody’s laugh through his smile.  No matter my mood that boys laugh and  hugs  always made me smile. I’m going to print this pic out and carry with me every day in case I need a smile 💜

Love, grace, and kindness flowed in your home each time we were fortunate enough to visit.  Being blessed to be around Carrie, with the glow of her faith, helps us believe that all who love and support this family after the tragic loss of Cody will find comfort, serenity and the strength to live on in love.
