It is with great sadness that the family of Roberto Alonso Juanche announce his passing. Roberto Alonso Juanche, resident of Mesa, formerly of Altamirano, Guerrero, Mexico, passed away on September 19, 2020 at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center at the age of 65 years.
Roberto was born in Altamirano, Guerrero, Mexico and was the first-born son of Fidelia Lopez. Growing up in Guerrero, he lived with his mother and two younger brothers: Francisco Alonso and Juan Alonso Juanche. The brothers shared a special bond in childhood and through their adolescence, as they were each other’s keepers. They were close enough growing up they were nicknamed: the Three Musketeers. Roberto immigrated to Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 30, after following in his mother’s footsteps. Francisco and Juan immigrated shortly after, reuniting the family and The Three Musketeers. Roberto kept up with his brothers and their growing families as much as an uncle could. He worked for Gilbert Unified Schools at Campo Verde High School for 18 years. Up until his passing, he cared for his mother, enjoyed walking their dog, Gabby, and caring for their cat, Luigi.
Roberto had an optimistic personality with a great sense of humor. Those who loved him for his infectious smile will always remember him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching old western movies.
Roberto led an active life from an early age he loved playing soccer with his brothers. Later in life, he kept active by playing racquetball with his brothers on the courts of Mesa parks.
His beloved dog Gabby and beloved cat Luigi, his nieces and nephews; Eduardo Lopez, Roberto Hugo Alonso, Miryan Inocente Alonso, Arely Alonso Hernandez, Fidelia Boll, Filadelfia Alonso, Francisco Alonso Jr., Joana Alonso White and Raquel Alonso, his great-nieces and great-nephews; Jalen Matthew Schellenberg, Danielle Alonso, Jordan Andrew Schellenberg, Justin David Schellenberg, Armando Garcia Jr., Emily Lopez, Alicia Janet Garcia, Abel Garcia, Lorelai Boll, Aubrey Boll, Lourdes Alonso, David Brandon Torres, Genesis Sky Torres, Eli Alonso Hernandez, his sister-in-laws; Maria de Lourdes Alonso Zuleta and Leticia Alonso Martinez, will miss him with deep sadness. His mother Fidelia Lopez and his brother Juan Alonso will most of all, profoundly regret his departure and will miss him with deep sadness.
Roberto will be laid to rest at Mariposa Gardens alongside his brother Franciso Alonso († 12/14/17).

The funeral will immediately follow the viewing at the gravesite on October 3, 2020 at Mariposa Gardens.

Es con gran pesar que la familia de Roberto Alonso Juanche anuncia su fallecimiento. Roberto Alonso Juanche, residente de Mesa, antes de Altamirano, Guerrero, México, falleció el 19 de Septiembre de 2020 en Mercy Gilbert Medical Center a la edad de 65 años.
Roberto nació en Altamirano, Guerrero, México, siendo el primogénito de Fidelia López. Creció en Guerrero con su mamá y sus dos hermanos: Francisco Alonso Juanche y Juan Alonso Juanche. Los tres hermanos compartían un vínculo especial desde la niñez y adolescencia, cuidándose mutuamente, por los que algunos les llamaban "Los Tres Mosqueteros". Siguiendo los pasos de su mamá a los Estados Unidos, emigró a Phoenix, Arizona. Francisco y Juan, de igual forma, emigraron poco después. Manteniendo a la familia y a Los Tres Mosqueteros reunidos. Roberto se mantuvo cerca de sus
hermanos y sus nuevas familias tanto como le fue posible. Durante 18 años trabajó para Gilbert Unified Schools en Campo Verde High School. Hasta su fallecimiento, cuidó de su mamá y disfrutó los paseos y compañia de su perrita Gabby y su gato, Luigi.
Roberto siempre tuvo una actitud positiva de la vida, y un gran sentido de humor. Sus seres queridos lo recordarán por su gran sonrisa, quien disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia viendo películas del viejo oeste.
Mantuvo una vida activa ya que desde pequeño le gustaba jugar fútbol con sus hermanos, y una vez que se mudaron a Estados Unidos, se juntaban a practicar racquetball en las canchas de los parques de Mesa.
Su amada perrita Gaby, su amado gato Luigi, sus sobrinas y sobrinos; Eduardo Lopez, Roberto Hugo Alonso, Miryan Inocente Alonso, Arely Alonso Hernández, Fidelia Boll, Filadelfia Alonso, Francisco Alonso Jr., Joana Alonso White y Raquel Alonso, sus sobrinas nietas y sobrinos nietos; Jalen Matthew Schellenberg, Danielle Alonso, Jordan Andrew Schellenberg, Justin David Schellenberg, Armando Garcia Jr., Emily Lopez, Alicia Janet Garcia, Abel Garcia, Lorelai Boll, Aubrey Boll, Lourdes Alonso, David Brandon Torres, Genesis Sky Torres and Eli Alonso Hernández, sus cuñadas; Maria de Lourdes Alonso Zuleta y Leticia Alonso Martínez, lo extrañarán con gran tristeza. Pero, sobre todo, su mamá Fidelia Lopez y su hermano Juan Alonso, lamentan profundamente su partida y lo extreñaran con profunda tristeza.
Roberto descansará en Mariposa Gardens, cerca de su hermano Francisco Alonso († 12/14/17).
