Rodney Lee Sterkel, 55, passed away on June 8, 2022. Rod was born and spent his early childhood in the Los Angeles area and moved to Oregon as a teen and called Oregon home. After years of retail management, he moved to Arizona and received his AC Technician certification and served the AZ valley for many years before moving his role inside as a branch manager for an AC wholesale supplier.
Rod had a smile that could light up the room and a quick wit that kept everyone laughing. He loved the beach and had finally bought his dream car, a red Corvette. He was an avid sports fan. He loved the Los Angeles Rams and got to see them win a Super Bowl. He loved the LA Dodgers and Oregon Ducks.
Rod is survived by his parents Darlene and David Hill, siblings, his children Sharai (Teak), Kisha, Dillon, and Austin and 8 grandchildren along with the love of his life Cassie and her 3 children, Danielle, Garrett and Delaney. He was preceded in death by Grandma T, Grandma Hill, brother David Hill Jr and nephew Zack Mendenhall.
