

Ronald Guenther, age 83, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Ron was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on April 20, 1932, son of the late William and Mildred (Hugadorn) Guenther. Ron has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin. He served in the army in the artillery division. He worked for many years as a teacher of special needs children at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute, and later in his career shifted his focus to real estate appraisals at Guenther Appraisal, Ltd in Menasha, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his beloved companion Shirley Krafft and his five children Sue Coatney of California, Karen (David) Johnson of Appleton, Wisconsin, Kurt Guenther, Karl (Sarah) Guenther of Berlin, Wisconsin, and Sarah (Scott) Ponath of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. There are also six grandchildren Colin and Kyle Johnson, Kacey, Erika, Addie, and Alesha Guenther.
In retirement, Ron enjoyed hiking in the Superstition Mountains, nature, taking pictures, plants, cooking, and reading.
