Ron lived a fulfilling life as a husband, father, brother and friend. He loved the great outdoors and would have liked a career as a forest ranger.
He enjoyed hiking, fishing, sailing, travel and RVing. He worked for California Department of Transportation for 39 years; he started as a surveyor and retired as an administrator.
Ron is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lorna, his daughters Rebecca and Roxanne, and granddaughter Willow. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Rhonda, brother Robert, and sister Jean.
There will be no services per family wishes.
