Ronnie Gene Arrington

Ronnie G Arrington, 78 passed away December 14, 2020 from COVID-19. He was a stroke and cancer survivor. He was known for his storytelling and wit. He was a very generous man, who was always willing to help others.

Ronnie was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico April 28, 1942. He had a twin sister Connie that passed away a few days after birth. He started his career as a crane operator at the age of 17. He married Dottie Lambert, his wife of nearly 51 years, in January 1964. They had two children, Kenny and Brenda. He worked many construction jobs in New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California before retiring. He had a special bond with his four grandsons Trevor Marlar, Trenton Marlar, Bryce Arrington, and Brandon Arrington.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Herman “Pinky“ and Mary Ellen Arrington, his sister Connie, his wife Dottie and son Kenny. He is survived in death by his brother Richard Arrington, Sister Sandy Welch, daughter Brenda Marlar (Greg) grandsons Trevor Marlar (Casey), Trenton Marlar (Katie), Bryce Arrington, Brandon Arrington and other extended family.

Memorial services to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Jude's, a charity very dear to him.
