Roy L. Lindgren Jr.

Roy L. Lindgren Jr., of Mesa, AZ passed away March 18, 2018 at the age of 86. He was born December 19, 1931 in Edina, MN to Roy L. and Ella [Gust] Lindgren. Roy worked most of life with the Highway Dept. for the State of Minnesota and enjoyed his time on the road plowing snow; he also managed a Pure Oil Station in Minnesota for 5 years. He loved the outdoors, including fishing, hunting and camping, and also found enjoyment in traveling in his motorhome. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ella, his sister LaVerne Zilge and his niece, Janet Burnett. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Therese Y. [Castonguay] Lindgren; sisters-in-law, Noella and Dennis Ericson of Desert Hot Springs, CA, Rose Smeby of Mesa, AZ, Leone Knaeble-Hunter, Marie and Wilbuur Desrosier and Valerie and Clyde Kaske; brothers-in-law, Michael and Annette Castonguay of Mesa, AZ, Retired Colonel Joseph Castonguay of Lacey, WA, George and Donna Castonguay and Paul and Marilyn Castonguay; his niece, Susan (Steven) Wittier of Minneapolis, MN and nephew, Larry (Kathy) Zilge of Mason City, IA and their families.
