Ruben Garcia Miranda of Mesa, AZ, passed away peacefully at his son’s home on April 17, 2016. He was born in Mesa on April 4, 1934, 1 of 6 brothers, to Manuel and Isabel Miranda. Ruben worked in the liquor industry for over 30 years as a warehouseman and truck driver and will always be remembered for his incredible work ethic. He is a veteran of the Navy and served during the Korean War. Ruben was a very positive person and was dedicated to caring for and being with his family. As an Arizona Diamondbacks and ASU football super-fan many evenings were planned around the televised games of the day. Ruben is survived by his loving wife, Mary; children, David Miranda, Donald (Paula) Miranda, Belle Miranda and Daniel Miranda; his brother Benny; grandchildren Ryan, Nikki, David, Vanessa, Carrie, Derek and Sammy and great grandchild, Audrina.
