Ruby Virginia Monsees Loper, 84 years of Mesa, Arizona passed away March 2, 2012 in Mesa, Arizona. Born September 2, 1927 in Houston County, Georgia to the late Dock and Jesse (Dedmond) Monsees. Ruby was a long time member of Cherokee Heights Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia where she made many beloved friends. She considered her greatest accomplishment to be getting all of her 3 children through college. After that she decided to go to college as an adult in her forties and did extremely well. Ruby was married to her husband James Spencer Loper for 65 years. Her other family members surviving Ruby are her daughter Deena Loper Sanders; sons Jeffrey Ted Loper, James Chris Loper; sisters Mary Hendrix, Gertha Felts and Ruth Goldbaugh all of Macon, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Etta Glawson, Charlie Monsees, Lee Monsees, Casey Monsees, Francis Baker, Irene Monsees and Daphne Hammock.
