Ruth Ann Long, 78, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on November 25, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born on April 15, 1936 in Mansfield, Ohio. Ruth attended LA County Medical Center and received a nursing degree in 1958. She married Earl Dean Long on May 22, 1955. Ruth worked as a nurse locally for the Lutheran Hospitals. She was a kind, loving and thoughtful wife and mother. Her hobbies included reading books, crocheting and needlepoint. She is survived by her loving husband of more than 59 years, Earl D. Long; her children Douglas Alan Long and Donna Renee Long; and her grandchildren, Jessica Alice Curry and Alexander Christian Ford.
