Sadie B. Parks

Sadie B. Parks passed away August 17, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona surrounded by her family. Sadie was born in Aberdeen, Maryland to Oscar and Marie Caudill on September 10, 1925. She met the love of her life J.C Parks and had two sons Jerry and Don. Sadie and J.C. were married for 64 years before he passed away in 2009. Sadie was very dedicated to her family. She especially loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. She was a brave and feisty woman who just loved people. For many years she took pride in serving and being involved with the 1st Baptist Church in Pinetop-Lakeside. Sadie had a great sense of humor which was contagious to those around her. She will be dearly missed. Sadie was preceded in death by her husband J.C. Parks. She is survived by her sons Jerry (Joyce) and Don (Sharon) Parks; her granddaughter Geri-Lynn; her grandsons Matthew, Jonathan and Michael (Heather) Parks; her great-grandchildren Katie, Sean, Dale, Elijah and Thomas; her great-great grandson Clancie; her brothers Carroll (Nell) Caudill of Texas, Curtis (Evelyn) Caudill of Florida and her sisters-in-law Marian Caudill of California and Carol Montgomery of Pennsylvania. A private service will be held for Sadie at East Resthaven Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Valley Hospice Care 1311 W.
