Shawn Clarence Lamberty, 52, of San Tan Valley, AZ passed away December 28, 2019. He was born in Denver, CO, October 28, 1967 and raised in Lake City, IA by Richard and Beverly [McCaully] Lamberty. In 1993, Shawn relocated to Arizona, where he met, Sheri “Shey” Thompson, at an apartment complex where he was working in maintenance. The two later married on August 27, 1994. Shawn was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed most everything outdoors, including, fishing the many lakes and rivers in Arizona, Kayaking, camping, long distance shooting and four wheeling. He was a handyman by trade and could fix just about anything. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and was always a “jokester”. Shawn is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sheri “Shey” Lamberty; his daughter, Meighan Thompson; sons, Gage Lamberty and Chandler Lamberty; his grandson, Eli Johnson; siblings, Rex Rusher, Leona Davis, Kay Prima and Dora Ludley; his nieces, Heather Anderson and Allie Daniel and nephew, Justin Pope ,, as well as numerous great nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Mariposa Gardens, 6747 E. Broadway Rd, Mesa AZ.
