
Sheryl Jean McLamb, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 67.
Born on May 19, 1958, in Los Angeles, California, Sheryl later earned her GED a reflection of her determination and lifelong commitment to personal growth.
Sheryl built a successful and fulfilling career as an Account Executive with Lockton Specialties. She truly loved her work and deeply valued the relationships she formed with her coworkers, many of whom became like family. During her illness, she was surrounded by an outpouring of support, and following her passing, her colleagues honored her memory with a dedicated meeting and a candlelight vigil.
Known for her vibrant personality and generous heart, Sheryl had a special gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. She loved animals, found joy in helping others, and was especially cherished in her role as a beloved aunt. Her warmth and humor left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She is survived by her mother, Doris Weaver Hill; her daughter, Brittany Ann Fabre; her sister, Debra Mason Wilson (Jon Wilson); her brother, Jeremy Shane Hill; her uncles, Paul Weaver (Debbie Weaver) and Marvin Weaver; and her many nieces and nephews: Shannon Mason, Amanda Champagne, Jessica McCulloch, Joshua McLamb, Devin Bryan Cooke, Sara Hunsicker, Madisen Hill, Christian Hill, JJ Wilson, Brian Wilson, Ryken Hunsicker and Audrey Hunsicker.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the laughter she shared, the kindness she showed, and the love she gave so freely.
