Stephanie A. Hopkins was born October 16, 1949 in Freeport, Illinois to Manuel F. Cain and Janet Helen (Loewe) Cain. She attended Freeport Schools graduating in 1967. She then attended and graduated from Highland College and Arizona State University. In 1978 she married Glenn D. Hopkins, her true soul mate, in Phoenix, Arizona. Their union produced two wonderful daughters, Hilary & Tiffany. She was an educator, accountant, and advocate for those in need, but her most cherished roles were being a wife, mother, mother-in-law, and finally a grandmother. Stephanie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Glenn; daughters Hillary J. Cappel (Craig) & Tiffany A. Rust (Charlie); grandchildren Connor & Kylie Cappel and Brianne & Aniston & Bryson Rust. She is also survived by her brother Stephen R. Cain (Donna) and brother-in-law Gregg A. Hopkins (Sally). She leaves behind several nieces, nephews and their families. Stephanie's parents both preceded her in death.
