Sending our condolences on the loss of a wonderful counselor.  Steve was instrumental in helping so many people learn about their destructive behaviors, through both his substance abuse and domestic violence counseling programs.  Positive Change Institute was a go-to referral source for the east valley.  Undoubtedly, collaborating with Steve could be measured in client accountability and community safety.  He leaves a rippling impact on the patients and professionals he worked with.  Well done, Steve.  Peace to your family. 

I am so saddened to hear that Steve passed away. He was one of the first counselors with the probation department that I worked with. He had the ability and the kind heart to help even the most difficult client. After he left and started his own agency, he was my go-to referral. Steve was one of the first to introduce cognitive behavioral practices into the curriculum and his services have helped many, many, many clients over the years. Words cannot express my sorrow for the loss and my heart goes out to the family. Thank you Steve for everyone you helped and the light you shined! 

Unit #33 will never forget Steve Davis for his infinite passion to help others. His soul was genuine and there are countless victims of domestic violence he helped save by effecting change in their offenders. Thank you Steve for the many years you shared your exceptional gift with us. You are irreplaceable and will never be forgotten.
