Sylvia L. Waters

Sylvia worked as an Independent Realtor for 18 years. She married James Waters on November 25, 1987. Together they traveled the world. Sylvia’s favorite trip was an African Safari where they visited Kenya, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. Sylvia also enjoyed crafting.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jim Waters; children, Jenifer Wirz (Art), Dean Waters, John Waters (Angela), Karen Farrier (Mark), Colleen Hammond, Jim Waters, Dan Waters (Tiffany), and Katie Roberts (Matt); brother, Bill Clark (Cathy); and 16 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 3:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park & Funeral Care, 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Sylvia’s name to Reflections Hospice, 1840 E. University, Mesa, AZ 85206; Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 1028 E. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85006; or First Baptist Church, 300 E. Lorena Ave, Wood River, IL 62095.
